Client: Powerhub Ltd
Partner: A brand website and two interactive catalogues for a lighting and electrical supplier
Project: Brand website design & build (from scratch)
Focus: Positioning a new supplier as a technical digital partner
Role: UX strategy, UI design, website design & development
The Challenge
Powerhub is a Mauritian supplier of architectural, commercial and decorative lighting, professional tools and electrical accessories, founded by two directors with more than fifty years of industry experience between them. Its customers are the people who specify: architects, consultants, contractors and project managers.
A new name against established players, Powerhub had no web presence, and its two lighting brands, Norvalux and Auralux, lived in PDF catalogues passed around by email. The challenge was **a website that earns a project team’s trust at first glance**, with the catalogues where a specifier can actually browse them.

Research & Strategy
Edit Studio started with what Powerhub already had:
- Reading the company profile, brand guidelines and both catalogues to pin down what the business sells and to whom
- Mapping how a specifier moves from brief to product choice, and where a supplier earns or loses confidence
- Deciding what belongs on the first screen and what can wait for the catalogue
The strategy centred on services before stock. Technical expertise, project support and lighting calculations lead the homepage; the two brands follow, each with its own range and catalogue; completed projects close the argument.
Design & Execution
- An editorial homepage
A full-bleed hero, a plain statement of who Powerhub works with, and five bespoke isometric icons for the services that set the company apart. - Two brands, one site
Norvalux and Auralux each have a dedicated section and page, with their range listed plainly and a clear route to the catalogue. - Interactive catalogues
We rebuilt both PDFs as page-flip HTML publications, embedded on the brand pages, with thumbnails, zoom, full-screen reading, and mobile use. - Projects and people
A filterable portfolio of completed installations, and an About page that introduces the two founders and the company’s values. - Designed and built without a handoff
Edit Studio designed and built the whole site on WordPress, set up the CMS so Powerhub can add projects themselves, configured analytics and supported the team after launch.
Final Outcome
- A brand website that presents Powerhub as a technical partner to project teams
- Norvalux and Auralux catalogues that open in the browser instead of downloading
- A CMS the client can maintain, with analytics in place from day oneThe result is a calm, confident site for a company whose product is good advice as much as good lighting, live at powerhubltd.com.
A supplier’s website should answer the question a specifier is really asking: do these people know what they are doing?
